Meet Mila and Maxie, 4 and 5-month-old kittens looking for their forever home together!Mila and Maxie are two silly and sweet kittens whose personalities complement each other perfectly. Their typical day is spent playing, looking for pets, sitting on the window sill watching everything outside — and of course, annoying each other like siblings do!Maxie, the handsome grey boy with white socks is confident, goofy, and incredibly loving. He is always cooing when he wants food, pets, or attention and is happy to cuddle up in your arms and fall asleep. His toys of choice are puff balls and he is always ready for some fun. As the most social of the two, he’s happy to be with his people friends and has never met someone he didn’t want pets from.Mila, the beautiful grey and white tabby is a little more shy and reserved especially when meeting someone new. She’ll often seek out her brother to hide behind at first, but will soon warm up. Of course, Maxie is a bit more interested in getting pets than protecting his sister! However, Mila has come a long way since she first came into foster care! Despite a difficult start in life, she has made a lot of progress in her foster home and has learned that humans can be safe, loving, and fun! Once Mila get to know you, her playful personality really shines. She loves wand toys and will happily play with her new humans once she feels comfortable. With time and patience, Mila blossoms into a very affectionate cat on her own terms.Both kittens have a calm demeanor while retaining their normal kitten energy. They love to play, explore, chase both toys and each other, but once they are done for the day they are happy to settle down and relax. Maxie especially likes a good cuddle after playtime, and Mila loves interactive play, especially with wand toys. Both would benefit from daily playtime and a home with lots of room to explore, run, and enjoy their kitten days!Mila and Maxie currently live together in a two-story home with four adults. They are used to having multiple people around and are comfortable with the normal sounds and activity of a busy household. Their foster home is also located on a busy road, so they are accustomed to traffic and everyday household noise. Mila and Maxie would thrive in a loving home with plenty of space to explore and adventure and someone who will make time to play with them and give them lots of affection. Ideally, their new favorite human would be someone with a little extra patience who understands that some kittens build relationships with humans at their own pace. They do need a tall-sided litter box in their home. They are adaptable and could do well with children, ideally older children who know how to interact respectfully with cats. Since they are used to a busy household with everyday noise, they should adjust well to an active home.Mila and Maxie can’t wait to go to a home ready to shower them with love, affection, and cuddles!
