VELVEETA. Orange. Delicious. Are we talking about the cheese or the cat? Well, both, but mostly the cat. Velveeta is a stunning big orange and white boy who loves attention. If you've got a free hand, Velveeta will be there with a little head butt to remind you to pet him. Velveeta is a young boy, probably 1-2 years old. He was 9 pounds but way too skinny, he's close to 12 pounds now. Velveeta was living outdoors, probably dumped because he's super friendly. He was being picked on by other outdoor cats. Thankfully a good samaritan scooped him up and got him to safety before he fell victim to one of the may threats to outdoor cats -- disease, predators and starvation. Now he's fully vetted and ready to live his best life. If you'd like to meet this orange lover boy, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org and we can arrange a meet. You can meet Velveeta at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
