Lovely brown facial lines. Personality Junebug is a zippy, curious little tritabby who has never met an activity she didn’t want to join. Whether it’s the crinkle of a bag, the swish of a toy wand, or simply the comings and goings of her household, Junebug is right there — watching, investigating, and looking for a way to get involved. She is an attention seeker in the very best sense of the word: this girl wants to be wherever the action is, and she wants you to notice her while she’s at it. Under her light tabby coat, Junebug wears pretty orange patches scattered in several places, and her face is traced with lovely brown facial lines that give her an especially sweet, expressive look. She is a small bundle of high energy, always ready to pounce on a toy, chase a wand, or invent her own game out of whatever happens to be nearby. But she isn’t all zoomies — Junebug is also deeply affectionate and loves being petted, and she is happy to settle in for cuddle time once her curiosity has been satisfied, at least for the moment. Junebug can be a bit shy at first, especially in new or overwhelming situations, so she will do best with people willing to give her a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe, her playful, people-loving personality shines right through. She gets along well with cat-friendly dogs and school-aged kids, and because she is still a kitten herself, she would love a home with another kitten or young cat to play with — a partner in crime who can keep up with her energy and appreciate her philosophy that everything is more fun as a game. She may not be the best match for older, less active cats, who likely won’t share her enthusiasm for pouncing from behind the furniture. Junebug would do well in almost any type of home, as long as she also has a quiet spot of her own to retreat to for naps when she is ready to recharge. Ideally, her new family will have had one or two cats before, so they know what to expect from a cat who wants to be part of everything — and who repays that involvement with plenty of play and purrs. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped.
