***Duke is currently located at our rescue in Georgia but also available for adoption in the New Jersey area. He will be transported to New Jersey and available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes if not adopted prior to Sept 25. An application for Duke's adoption should be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Duke and/or our adoption process should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** In late August, 2026, two young puppies appeared at the home of the grandmother of one of our staff members. After no owner was located, we were able to take the brother and sister duo into our rescue.  Duke, the male puppy, has a very friendly, playful personality. He's always eager to interact with our staff, plays very well with his sister, Ailey, and shows no apprehension of people, other dogs or new routines. Duke will undoubtedly bring much love into his new home and quickly become a valued member of that family. Duke has now receiving an update on all of his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other preventative care. Duke will be neutered prior to his adoption.  He will require all of his basic training.
