KAYONA IS LEARNING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE SAFE Not long ago, sweet little Kayona was living outdoors, unsure of what each new day would bring. Then she was trapped and brought to us and suddenly, her whole world changed. Now this adorable gray-and-white girl, with the cutest little white socks , is discovering something she may never have known before: what it feels like to be warm, protected, fed, and cared for. At first, indoor life was unfamiliar. New sounds, new smells, people nearby… so many things to figure out. But every day, Kayona is learning a little more. And we’re starting to see the kitten underneath all that uncertainty. She’s discovering TOYS! She loves to play, explore, and let her curiosity take over. Each playful moment feels like another little piece of her old outdoor life slipping away as she realizes she doesn’t have to worry anymore. Soon, Kayona will be introduced to another kitten so she can experience something else she deserves the comfort of having a kitten friend to play with, cuddle with, and grow up beside. Kayona is still in quarantine right now, so meet-and-greets will need to be scheduled a little further out. But we’re already hoping there’s someone out there who will read her story and decide she’s worth waiting for. Because this little girl has already had one big change in her life… From surviving outdoors to learning how wonderful indoor life can be. Now she just needs one more. A forever home. A home where she’ll be loved for the rest of her life, with another friendly kitten or cat by her side. A home where those little white socks will never have to walk the streets again. Kayona is learning how to be someone’s kitten. Maybe she’s waiting to be yours. ❤️ Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home.
