Hatch Date ~ 2019 Meet Tiky — A Special Needs Cockatiel Looking for a Quiet Home ❤️ Tiky is a male cockatiel looking for a loving, patient forever home. He is a mostly quiet bird with a gentle personality and would do best in a calm, peaceful household where he can feel safe and comfortable.  We were told Tiky is 7 yrs old, but the vet seems to think he is a bit older. Tiky is vision impaired due to cataracts, so he needs a little extra understanding and care. Because of his limited vision, a home where his cage, food, water, and surroundings can remain consistent would be ideal. He may take some time to become comfortable in a new environment, but with patience and a gentle approach, he can settle into a loving home. Tiky has been disease tested for Chlamydia and PBFD.  Tiky is being fostered in Bensalem, PA.    He will only be adopted into a forever home within driving distance.  We will NOT ship our birds.   For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.  We do not have a central location.
