He's a super-chill guy who prefers the floor over dog beds or furniture, gets along beautifully with other dogs (his foster has four of her own - plus Buddy!), and loves to swim, stroll on a leash, and go out in public.  Gus is tall, handsome, and steady - the kind of dog who turns heads but stays humble. Gus was recently adopted but came back to his foster after a misunderstanding involving food and a young child.  His family realized that with small kids in the home, it wasn't the right fit for him.  Since returning, Gus has settled right in and shown everyone he's still the same gentle loyal boy we know and love He's ready for a home that appreciates his calm nature and give him space to relax - may with older kids or adults who enjoy peaceful walks and quiet companionship.
