Titus

Description

  Titus is a 1-year-and-9-month-old male German Shepherd.  With his family, Titus is extremely loving, loyal, playful, and affectionate. Once he becomes comfortable with someone, he is a big baby and a sweetheart. He is potty trained and knows commands including sit, down, stay, come, and go to his kennel. Titus does have anxiety and can become overwhelmed in unfamiliar situations, especially during car rides or when meeting new people. He may bark at first and needs someone who will introduce him slowly and patiently. He has never bitten anyone. With other dogs, Titus becomes excited and likes to play hard. He sometimes barks because he wants to play, but he can also try to show dominance, especially around other male dogs, which is understandable since he is not neutered.  He would probably do best with an older confident female dog. Titus is the typical shepherd, he is protective in the sense that he is alert and will bark, but he has never shown aggression toward his family. He is energetic and loves playing fetch, but he can also relax and sleep around the house for much of the day. Titus is up to date on vaccines and on monthly heart worm and flea and tick preventative.   Titus's dad is active military and needs to find his companion a home by October 5th.  If you are interested in adopting Titus, please contact Donna at BMSR1313@gmail.com.
