Maelin (aka Mae Mae)

Hi! I'm Maelin (Mae Mae) and I am 2 years old. I am a shy, sweet girl that was recently surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of my own. My mom loved me very, very much and giving up my fur brother and I was very hard on her. She gave the shelter all kinds of information on me, so lets talk about it! I have successfully lived with my fur brother (Kilo who is also available for adoption), other dogs, cats and kittens and infant and have done well with them. I do chase the cats in the home but I do not injure them in any way. I am housetrained and will sit at the door to let you know I have to potty! I do need a crate when you are not home and need to be properly crate trained. I am a food motivated girly that enjoys food and treats over toys, but I do play with a ball and stuffed toys on occasion! I also like bones. A bad habit I have is jumping up on people, but its to give you a big ole hug! I am a lover girl and I sure do love a good snuggle session! Unlike Kilo, I do well for grooming and nail trims! I have escaped my home a time or two because I like to run out the door and hang out in the yard... so I would keep an extra close eye on me if you have young ones that like to run in and out because I'll want to join them! I am used to eating Iams large breed dog food (chicken and whole grain) and have done very well on that brand! If you have read this far and are looking for a snuggly girl, here I am!
