Quincy

Description

He’s scruffy, smart, clingy, funny, a little dramatic, and fully committed to being involved in whatever you’re doing at all times. He’ll bring you toys when you get home, curl up directly against you on the couch, and charm basically every person he meets. He came from a rural shelter, so city life was a big adjustment at first, but he’s already made a ton of progress. He’s much less reactive on walks now, calmer around noises, settles more easily at home, and has gotten significantly better with barking both inside and outside. He’s also improved a lot with being left alone and now sometimes walks into his crate to sleep on his own. He’s fully house trained, loves fetch, loves meal time, loves attention, and takes cuddling very seriously. He also occasionally stands on his hind legs for treats like a tiny rabbit. Quincy is still working on ignoring scooters and runners passing by, barking at dogs on TV, and staying relaxed at busy outdoor cafés, but he’s genuinely trying and responds really well to reassurance, routine, and people he trusts - and has gotten some extra help from @magneticdogtraining. 4 years old • 12 pounds • and extra scruffy!
