Meet Stallone, a black-and-white, 80-pound Pitbull/American Bulldog mix and our very own heavyweight champion who is ready to box his way straight into your home and, more importantly, into your heart! This big boy may have the muscles of a prize fighter, but underneath that tough exterior is a guy who has a definite appreciation for belly rubs, quality time with his favorite human, and settling in for a good Netflix binge. Stallone has proven to be an absolute star in his dog-to-dog playgroups and has done wonderfully with his canine friends. If you already have a dog at home, a meet and greet will be required to make sure everyone is ready to step into the ring together. Stallone also has a bark big enough to shoo away any would-be intruder, making him quite the impressive home security system, but don't let that fool you—he is just as interested in being your couch companion and professional snuggler. Cats are not a good idea for Stallone's new boxing ring. Stallone is up-to-date on all vaccines and preventative care and will be available foster-to-adopt until after his neuter appointment. His adoption fee is sponsored for the right adopter, so if you're ready to welcome this heavyweight champion into your family, Stallone is ready for his next round—and he's hoping it ends with a forever home!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
