Coco and Mango

Description

Hatch Date: 2022   Coco (Male) and Mango (Female) are the most lovable cockatiels you'll ever find.  They're looking for a very warm and caring home where they will get a lot of love and attention.  Even though they're a bonded pair, they love the company of other birds or animals. They will be adopted out together.   They enjoy light and open airy spaces where they can get comfortable.  Once they are comfortable, they will sing peek-a-boo and like to hang outside the cage during the day time.  They are a bit sensitive, so will need someone who's willing to take it slow with them as they get settled. Slowly building trust with them will make them feel safe and help them gain confidence in their surroundings.   They enjoy a daily variety of scrumptious prebiotics, pellets, grains, sunflower seed kernels and hemp seeds.  Their favorite foods are egg food and millet.  In addition, they like fresh broccoli or greens on a daily basis.    They do not like to be covered at night except for a small section of the cage and do like a night light see they can see who's coming in case they need to hide .     If you're looking to bring home a loving pair, give them time and attention and get lovely songs in return, then this is the pair for you!!   The pair has been tested for Chlamydia and PBFD.  Coco and Mango are being fostered in Belle Mead, NJ.  They will require an in-person visit before adoption. We   do not ship our birds.   For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA. As our adoptable birds are living in private volunteer homes, we only allow approved adopters to make the required visits.
