Available for Adoption: Meet Dolly! Dolly is a true diamond in the rough who is looking for a loving family to help her continue discovering just how wonderful life can be. Dolly was found as a stray and was extremely fearful when she first arrived. She would army-crawl everywhere she went, understandably unsure of the world around her. But with patience, kindness, and love, Dolly has blossomed. Every day, she comes further out of her shell, and the sweet, gentle soul underneath is shining brighter and brighter. Dolly appears to have had a rough beginning, but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming an incredibly loving and trusting girl. She is quiet, well-behaved, obedient, and eager to please. She loves being close to her person and would happily become your cuddle bug or lap dog. Dolly also had a severe umbilical hernia, approximately the size of a half dollar, which potentially placed her life at risk. Thankfully, her spay and hernia repair surgery was a complete success, and she has fully recovered. Since arriving in foster care, Dolly has made tremendous progress. She now loves playing with her foster siblings and is fully engaged with them. She is wonderful with dogs, cats, and children and has such a gentle, kind nature. Dolly’s progress: wonderful with other dogs. Dolly is 80% crate trained, working on potty training, will require continued leash training, she is quiet, obedient and eager to please. Dolly may need a little patience as she continues learning to trust and navigate the world, but she has already shown us what a remarkable girl she is. She’s come so far—and deserves a forever family who will love her, encourage her, and show her that her best days are still ahead. Dolly has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa, AZ., near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours 7 days a week. Private message if interested!
