You can tell by my pictures how adorable I am! I can be a bit shy at first but once I get to know you, we are best friends! My foster mom says I’m very smart as I have been learning to do my business outside and walk on a leash, though she says I still need work on this. As I’m still very young, I would greatly benefit from going to puppy classes so I can learn how to be the best dog ever. It will also be good for my new family so we can share that special bonding time. I have lots of puppy energy, so an active family would be great for me. I can’t wait to meet my forever family and go on many adventures.   And now, a few words from my foster mom: What can I say about Otis except that he is a lovable, eager to please, smart puppy. He can be shy at first and tends to hang back until he is certain that everything is OK. Otis learns things quickly and is such a pleasure to have around the house. Otis gets so much joy running around the backyard and playing with his toys and with the other dog in his foster home. He loves his treats and getting lots of cuddles. He is a typical puppy on walks and will need work to help him get confidence as some loud vehicles scares him. His housetraining is going well. He still has the occasional accident in the house but these are getting fewer and fewer. Otis does have a voice but has only used it at appropriate times. Otis likes his crate and uses it frequently during the day as he sees this as his secure place. He does express his objections at bed time by whining for a few minutes but he soon gives up and drifts off to sleep. Otis is looking for a forever home where someone is home most of the day, has a securely fenced yard that he can play in and an active family where they can go on many adventures together. Another dog in the home would be a benefit to Otis so he can play and learn from them. If you think Otis is a perfect match for you, put in an application soon!
