UPDATE!! Meet Bailey Joy! This sweet girl was found as a stray and turned into the shelter and then pulled into our care. She’s a beautiful labby girl who is around 6 years old and 44 lbs. She’s a true lab in every way. She’s goofy, loves to explore the outdoors and loves the water even more. Coming from the streets she can be protective of her food with other animals but when fed separately there’s no issues. She gets along with dogs of all ages and size. She’s great with kids. She does well in the house and is an around great girl. She would thrive with a fenced yard to run and play or an owner who likes walks/hikes and will take her along. She is utd, hw tested and spayed.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $145 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
