Description

BIO Hello! My name is Mel. I am currently being house trained and doing very well. I’ve had no accidents since I first came to my foster home. I am also learning about being crated. Since I am still very young it is best to crate me if you cannot supervise me. I am cautious when strangers come to the house. I bark a little, but I will settle down when we are introduced. I am learning how to trust people. I am very affectionate and I will warm up to someone that spends time with me. I have met a lot of different dogs. I greet them in a very friendly playful way, even when I am out on a leash taking a walk. I am very well on leash. I don’t pull or bark at anything. I love playing with chew toys and tug. I know how to play fetch. I also like toys with treats in them. I am doing better in the car. I like it when we go somewhere fun. We visited family and I was quiet and well behaved. I have not met children here, however I did meet a toddler with no problem.I would like to find an active home with someone who is home more often than not. Someone who likes the outdoors to take me hiking and play. I love running around. I hear obedience and agility classes are fun. Someone who is patient, kind and will continue to teach me how to become the best girl I can be. Are you looking for a sweet natured girl with lots of love to give? Follow me on Facebook:  #EchoDogMel For more information, please contact adoptions@echodogs.org.   Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
