Description
Champa is a 6-year-old, sweet boy looking for his forever home! This guy is extremely social and affectionate. He loves playing with his toys, birdwatching, lounging in his cat tree, and cuddling. He is content as long as he can spend time with you! He is not overly needy, but he will let you know if he wants attention with a little tap of his paw. Champa can be skittish and startles easily, but he quickly warmed up to his foster family within the first few days. His former owner reported that he bit her a few times over the six years she had him, but this has not been an issue in his foster home. Champa does not mind being picked up, and he will happily accept any pets or belly rubs you have to offer. This sweet guy is mildly active. He enjoys playtime, but he also spends a fair amount of time cuddling and/or napping.Champa is currently living in a two-story townhome with an adult couple and their two resident cats. He has been kept separated from the other cats in his foster home so far, but slow introductions will start soon. He hasn’t met any dogs yet, and would do best with gentle, cat-savvy older children and/or teens. An ideal home for Champa would include people who are around a lot to give him the love and attention he deserves and, ideally, another friendly feline to be his buddy. He was the only cat in his former owner's home, and she reported that he was lonely by himself. (This is a great time to adopt a second Pet Haven cat if you don’t have a resident feline!) Looking for a gentle, loving companion? Champa is here for you! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
