Short Stack (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

STRAY NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 9/13/2026:  Short Stack - female - approx 3 years old - 7.14 pounds - Dachshund Reason for intake:  Short Stack was running loose around Faith Plantation off of Hwy 157 in Haughton days.  We were first contacted about her about a week ago or so... with videos of her running around the neighborhood and into the woods.  None of the neighbors knew where she came from and it's not a big subdivision, but it is very rural.  After a few days, a neighbor was able to coax her to him.  He turned her over to the lady who initially contacted us and the following day, she brought her to us.  The only animal control in the area is Bossier City Animal Control and we did notify them that we have the dog.   If this is your dog you must CONTACT US for reclaiming instructions. Message our Facebook page. She was not chipped and wearing no collar.  There will be fines levied by animal control that will need to be paid upon reclamation. Stray will be up Thursday, 9/17/2026 at 4pm, at which time she'll go to the vet for everything she needs. APPLICATIONS ARE NOT TAKEN FOR DOGS ON STRAY HOLD!
