Meet Ivy, a 1-year-old Aussie mix weighing 30 pounds. This sweet girl may be a little timid when she first meets you, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes a happy, playful little Velcro dog who wants to be wherever her people are. Ivy loves hanging out with her humans, following them around the house, and playing with other dogs. She'd love a canine companion in her forever home and is wonderfully respectful during play. She's house trained, does great in her crate, and can be trusted loose in the house. Ivy does have some mild separation anxiety, so she'll need a family willing to help her build confidence when left alone. Ivy does need to be fed separately from other animals because she guards her food. She's not yet been exposed to children, although her foster mom thinks her gentle personality would likely make her a great family companion. If you're looking for a sweet, playful shadow with four paws and a wagging tail, Ivy might be your girl! Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
