A second chance to start over is a blessing and for our girl Winnie , a restart was long overdue. Winnie was found has a stray so the hurdles she overcame during that time is known only to her. She is shy at first with meeting new people but she warms and welcomes snuggling when the opportunity presents itself. Winnie is a 2 year old English Bulldog mix. She is a stocky gal weighing around 45 pounds making her a medium size girl. Although she is medium size, her heart is large and full of love to give to her forever family. Winnie is a bit particular when choosing her canine friends. Because she is dog selective, proper introductions with other dogs is a requirement. She has not been introduced to young children or cats since coming into rescue. Winnie likes to have fun while running around and playing with her ball. Having a family watch over her, guide her and participate in playtime would be everything she is looking for. Winnie knows that in order to be an awesome canine companion for her family, she will need to learn her, house, crate and leash training skills. She is taking it one day at a time and learning as she goes. She will benefit from her family helping her along the way.Winnie is dreaming of her future and it is filled with love. She looks forward to lots of time, companionship and snuggles that her forever family will provide for her each and every day.
