Dune — Playful, Curious, and Always Ready for Adventure Hi, I'm Dune! My journey to finding my forever family has been quite an adventure. I was rescued from the challenging streets of Qatar by a kind individual who made sure I had a chance at a better life. After a long trip across the world, I arrived in San Francisco—and the moment my carrier door opened, I was ready to play. No hiding for me! I spotted a toy and jumped right into the fun. I'm an older kitten with a big heart, endless curiosity, and enough energy to keep life entertaining. If it moves, squeaks, wiggles, or bounces, I'm probably already chasing it. Worm toys, wand toys, electronic toys—you name it! I'm also an impressive athlete and love leaping high into the air after my "prey." Sometimes I get so caught up in the excitement that I play until I'm completely worn out, so I appreciate having someone who helps me take little breaks between adventures. When I'm not busy perfecting my hunting skills, I like to keep tabs on my people. I'll chat with you when I'm hoping for playtime or a little attention, and every now and then I'll hop into your lap for a quick cuddle before I'm off on my next mission. I'm still very much a kitten, so I can get a little overstimulated with petting, but as I grow up and continue building trust, I'll likely become even more affectionate. One of my special talents? Carrying things around the house! Towels, sweatshirts—you might wake up wondering how they ended up across the room. I like to think I'm just helping with the decorating. I'm also easy to pick up, love Churu treats (who doesn't?), and enjoy sniffing whatever you're eating—even if I have no intention of tasting it. I'm polite around food and get along wonderfully with people and other cats. Because I'm such an active, playful guy, I'd be happiest in a home with another young, playful cat who can keep up with me. I absolutely love having a buddy to wrestle, chase, and explore with, and another feline friend will help me channel all my kitten energy in the best possible way.
