Description

Eclipse is an absolutely gorgeous loving momma. She has so much companionship to offer an experienced cat lover. Out of all the cats in The Cat House, she is the one that follows me around watching me enjoying me talking to her. She has been so great with her kids. She raised them in the shelter before their eyes were even open for almost 2 months before we were able to get her in our organization. When she came, her and the babies had their own room. With time, we opened the door and had a child gate so she could adjust to the other cats. Her kittens would come out and play, and then return to Eclipse to be comforted and cared for. She has learned to coexist well with other cats and volunteers. Eclipse is just the type of cat that has to respected and given her space. Eclipse is the epitome of what happens when people take cute kittens and then abandon them as soon as they have babies. Her world was turned upside down just when she needed it to be stable for her and her family. Honestly, cats like Eclipse rarely make it out of the shetler alive and if they do, they are stuck in the foster system for most if not all their lives.
