Description

This pup will be available to meet starting on 9/19If happiness had fluffy ears and four legs, we’re pretty sure it would look exactly like Kreo. Kreo is a 2-year-old, 43-pound male English Setter with a gorgeous smile, ridiculously adorable fluffy ears, and the kind of personality that makes you wonder, “Okay, but seriously…what’s the catch?” Spoiler alert: there isn’t one. He’s just a wonderful boy.Kreo is sweet, lovable, goofy, social, and seems to get along with just about everyone he meets. He’s a certified social butterfly who enjoys playing with other dogs and happily makes canine friends, especially if they’re interested in a good romp around the yard. But Kreo understands something very important about life: balance. He can happily play with his dog buddies and head out on an adventure, but when the fun is over? You may find this handsome gentleman stretched out in the shade enjoying a glorious afternoon nap. Play hard, snack harder, nap professionally. Kreo has this whole life thing figured out.Speaking of snacks…yes please. Kreo is more than happy to accept treats as compensation for being devastatingly handsome, and frankly, we think that’s fair.He walks well on leash and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a dog who can enjoy both sides of life. Want to head out exploring, take walks, go on adventures, and discover new places together? Kreo is ready. Want to come home afterward, pile onto the couch, cuddle up, and do absolutely nothing? Kreo would also like to subscribe to that plan.At 43 pounds, he’s a fantastic medium size with a beautifully balanced personality—playful without being nonstop, social yet able to settle, adventurous but perfectly happy to relax. And THAT SMILE.  Kreo absolutely lights up the room with his happy face and sweet, goofy personality. Add those gorgeous fluffy ears into the equation and resistance becomes basically useless.Kreo is ready for the next chapter of his life to include adventures, doggy friends, plenty of snacks, shady afternoon naps, couch cuddles, and humans who adore him as much as he’ll adore them. They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home.  Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
