Birthdate:  4/11/26Breed: One of a kindWelcome to another episode of "What Were They Thinking?", PCAR cat edition.  Whosoever named this velveteen, grey and white tuxie MAYOR VAUGHN, has "some splainin to do" lol!  Our sweetly diffident darling wants you to know that she is not a shark, not a mayor, and wouldn't bite a human - not even a love bite.  However, we are happy to have her circle around our arms (no deep water, no menacing music please) and let us know that she'd rather be doing rom-coms with us.   Hanging back initially in a new environment here, what a lovely surprise to find that one little touch gets her purr-motor going and she leans in hard for more.  Matter of fact, she's a "happy-drooler" and that's endearing confirmation that we're hitting all the right spots and making a connection.  She is sure to gain all the confidence she needs in coming days, but for right now, all she wants is a slow hand and some tenderness to make her feel safe and loved. Marvel at her stripes (just barely hidden beneath her coat) and come see how this petite love-bug makes you feel inside.  But don't go in the water.   The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets!
