Description
Willow (A141128) is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd who weighed 38.3 pounds on intake! 09/12/26 Miss Willow is back after a brief adoption due to her sensitive nature. Willow can be a little unsure, and she often finds comfort in her human. Willow's ideal home will be with someone that is either home a lot or is looking for a shotgun rider to bring everywhere with them! If you think you are Willow's perfect match, please give us a call!09/09/26 This sweet pup is Willow! Willow can be a bit shy initially but warms up quickly with positive reassurance! However, it was noted that she tends to tinkle when meeting new people or in nervous situations. She quickly warmed up to the care staff and showed off how great of a cuddler she is! Willow was said to do fabulously with the children in the home and adored the toddler! She was also said to do well other animals! Willow was said to do great with dogs and horses; she was also said to do well with cats but needed the occasional reminder to leave them alone. It is important that appropriate introductions are always being made and interactions supervised. Willow was also said to love playing fetch! Other than her nervous tinkles, she was said to be housebroken and kennel trained. It was noted that she will chew up anything and everything if left at home unsupervised and not in her kennel. Providing her appropriate chew toys is also important! She was also known to jump up on people but generally minds well if you ask her to get down. She also knows a variety of commands like sit, laydown, stand, and whistle (to come). It was noted that Willow does NOT jump fences, but will squeeze under them if there is a gap. She should be supervised when in a fenced-in yard. If you are interested in meeting this lovely lady, please let us know!
