Description

Meet Tuxedo, a black and white kitten. This handsome kitten arrived to the Shelter dressed to impress with his brother Cummerbund and sister Boutonniere. Tuxedo was found as a stray in Watsonville and brought to the Shelter for safety by the good Samaritan. At the Shelter, he has been enjoying spending time interacting with staff and volunteers through TLC and play. Tuxedo may enjoy a home with other animals provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction. To keep Tuxedo safe, as well as our local wildlife, an indoor only home is required moving forward.Tuxedo is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Tuxedo’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
