Meet Melissa Beautiful Melissa is a 2-year-old brown and white tabby with the most adorable polydactyl paws and an even bigger heart. From the moment Melissa was found, it was clear that she was comfortable with people and had likely been someone’s pet until very recently. She was incredibly outgoing and friendly right from the start, showing none of the hesitation you might expect from a cat who had spent her life outdoors. Sadly, everything about her suggested that this sweet girl had been recently abandoned and suddenly found herself without a home. Despite what happened to her, Melissa hasn’t lost an ounce of trust in people. She is extremely affectionate, loves attention, and is a true lap cat who is happiest curled up close to her human. She’s also wonderfully social with other cats and seems to make friends wherever she goes. And then there are those paws! Melissa is polydactyl, giving her wonderfully oversized little “mittens” that only add to her charm. Melissa clearly knows what it means to be loved.
