Hello there! My name is Lonnie! I am a 2 year old floofy black boy cat! I'm a sweet boy, but I was returned to the shelter largely because I was a lot more playful than I was expected to be. I might be a little on the chonky side, but that doesn't mean I don't like to chase toys and be active! I have a good purr that is very soothing, and I will roll over for pets if you give me some attention. I can get a little feisty if you pet my rear end too much or pick me up when I'm not ready for it, but I think those are pretty reasonable boundaries to have. I still can't believe I'm back here at the shelter, but everyone here says that now I can find my real furever family, so hopefully, they will find me soon!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
