George is a handsome 1-year-old black cat with a big personality and a little bit of a “dog” side to him! He can be territorial around other cats and their scents, so he’ll need some time and patience as he adjusts to a new environment. Once he feels safe and comfortable, though, his sweet and funny personality really starts to shine. George is very vocal with his favorite person and loves a good head scratch. One of his cutest tricks is putting his front paws up on your chest when you pat your chest—almost like he’s asking to be picked up! George is a cat who knows what he likes. He can become overstimulated during petting and may give a gentle swat to let you know he’s had enough. He’s not trying to be mean—he just has a very clear way of communicating his boundaries.
