Description
Hi, my name is Jack and I'm about 5 years old. I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society from Fayette County Animal Control. I was surrendered to Animal Control by my owner because he could not take care of me. He said I was his wife's dog and she passed away. I have had three legs since I was a puppy. I broke my leg before I had been adopted as a puppy and it didn't heal properly so my leg had to be amputated. Missing a leg does not keep me from doing the things I like. I like to go for walks and play in the yard with Harper, another shelter dog. I am well mannered and know "Sit" and "Shake". I am very friendly towards everyone. I need the company of either a person or another animal to be content. Shelter life has not been easy for me. I would do best with a family that someone is home most of the time. I do not like to be crated or kept in any enclosure. I'm not a big fan of the kiddie swimming pool. I stand on the outside next to the pool and drink out of it, but I don't get in it. I am house trained. I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org. Email the completed profile to the address provided. A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.
