Carolina is a 7 year old, 17 lb Shih Tzu mix with a sweet, easygoing nature and a love of closeness that makes her the perfect companion! A large, benign cyst was removed from her back. She has a history of a suspected left CCL tear; her former owner repots she was treated with rest and anti-inflammatories several years ago with no issues noted since. She also has a Grade 3 right patellar luxation. About Carolina’s Breed: Our best guess is that Carolina is a Shih Tzu breed. Shih Tzus are affectionate, people oriented little companion dogs known for their sweet nature, soft coats, and calm, easygoing personalities. They were bred to be lap dogs, and most Shih Tzus adore relaxing close to their humans, enjoying gentle play, and soaking up attention.
