UPDATE ON OUR THREE MINI SCHNAUZERS — WHISKEY, ZEUS & PENNY! We wanted to update everyone who followed the heartbreaking story of the three Mini Schnauzers who suddenly lost their dad and their home. ❤️‍ Thanks to some absolutely amazing people (THANK YOU Monica Eiermann!!) who stepped up when we needed them most, Whiskey, Zeus and Penny were able to stay together through the long holiday weekend and this past week. That was especially important to us because we have now seen just how bonded these three really are. But their temporary foster time is coming to an end, and now we need to find their forever home. ❤️ THREE DOGS. ONE FAMILY. ONE VERY SPECIAL WISH. Whiskey – 5 years old Zeus – 5 years old Penny – 6 years old All three share the same mother but are from three different litters, and they have spent their lives together. After losing the person they loved and everything familiar to them, they still have each other. Because of that, our first and strongest preference is to find that extraordinary person or family willing to ADOPT ALL THREE TOGETHER. ❤️❤️❤️ We know adopting three dogs is a big ask. But somewhere out there may be a Mini Schnauzer lover who looks at these three faces and thinks, “Why would I choose just one?” Their transition hasn’t been completely easy. After their initial veterinary examinations, two of the three developed stress colitis and required treatment. Considering everything they had just experienced, their little bodies were telling us they were stressed too. This delayed the neuter of one of the boys while we gave him time to recover. We also believe Penny is already spayed and are working to locate her previous veterinary records to confirm that. These aren’t puppies. At 5 and 6 years old, they’re at that wonderful age where they’ve grown out of the puppy craziness but still have plenty of years ahead to love another family. Our goal is simple: after everything in their lives changed, we’d really like the one thing they still have—their family—to stay the same.
