Fang

Description

Fang is a 4-year-old long-haired black kitty who is sweet, social, curious, and very playful. He is great with kids, keeps himself well-groomed, and has excellent litter box habits. Fang is completely blind and had both eyes removed due to glaucoma, but he does not let that slow him down! He is incredibly smart and adapts to his surroundings very well, navigating familiar spaces with impressive confidence and ease. Because he is so intelligent and curious, he can become bored or restless without enough stimulation and may keep you on your toes when it comes to cat-proofing surfaces and other areas of the home. Fang would do especially well in a home with an active feline playmate or with people who can give him plenty of interactive play and enrichment throughout the day. He is very loyal and forms strong attachments to his people. In return, he’ll give you plenty of snuggles and kisses at bedtime, keep you company while you go about your day, and be eagerly waiting to say “Hello!” when you come home. Fang is neutered, vaccinated, treated for worms and parasites, and has tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. He is currently maintained on a prescription urinary diet to help manage urinary crystals. He must be 'cat-burritoed' when trimming his nails. Fang also rarely drinks water (refusing bowl or fountain), resulting in the need to keep him on a wet food diet with extra water added to keep him healthy. Fang is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  neutered , and litter box trained.
