Description

Vous avez aussi droit à une consultation vidéo gratuite de 30 minutes dans le premier mois suivant l'adoption avec notre consultante en comportement félin FelineGood https://www.felinegood.ca             Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:   https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption   Rescued from the streets in November 2024, in the Côte-des-Neiges area, when he was only a few months old, Pastis has come a long way since then. Now almost two and a half years old, he is finally ready for his chance with a patient, loving, and enriching family who will give him the time, kindness, and environment he needs to truly thrive. Pastis’s trust has been built gradually over many months, mainly through play, treats, and a gentle, respectful approach. Today, he accepts being petted along his back and seems to enjoy it more and more. He is also much less shy around people. However, he remains a reserved cat, especially around strangers, so it will be important to continue respecting his pace. A good adjustment period should therefore be expected when he first arrives in his new home. To help him feel safe and secure, we recommend starting him off in a quiet acclimation room equipped with elevated spaces, hiding spots, and cozy areas where he can retreat and observe his new surroundings at his own pace. With patience and an environment suited to his needs, we are confident that Pastis will continue to make wonderful progress. Play is one of the best ways to earn his trust. Pastis particularly loves laser pointers, long shoelaces, wand toys, and little feathers. He can play for a long time without getting tired of it and really enjoys having different activities and new forms of enrichment to explore. Pastis is a sweet, pleasant cat with no behavioral issues. He gets along well with other cats and is neither aggressive nor territorial toward them. He will even patiently wait his turn when sharing a play session with his feline friends. We believe that a home with a social cat who enjoys the company of other cats would be particularly beneficial for Pastis. He could also live as the only cat, as long as his family understands and respects his personality and needs. Pastis is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fee is $310$. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Six weeks of pet insurance are included with the adoption. You will also have access to support from our adoption team for as long as needed, as well as a free 30-minute video consultation within the first month after adoption with our feline behavior consultant, FelineGood https://www.felinegood.ca To have a chance to adopt this cat, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:   https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/
