Bitsy

Description

Bitsy is a sweet, treat-loving 4-year-old girl who enjoys being outside, playing with squeaky toys, and curling up for cozy naps. She can be a little shy at first, especially with men, but warms up with patience and time.   Bitsy is housebroken and has almost mastered using a doggy door. She does well with kids and other dogs and ignores cats. She does well on a leash, although she may occasionally stop and lie down in hopes of getting a belly rub. She also has good house manners and does not counter surf.   Bitsy loves having something that smells like her person nearby when she rests. She is afraid of storms and appreciates having a cozy bed in a quiet spot away from the action when thunder rolls in.   Sweet, gentle, and affectionate, Bitsy is looking for a family who will give her a little patience while she settles in and gets comfortable. Give her some time, a few treats, and plenty of belly rubs, and Bitsy will show you just how special she is.
