Bluey

Description

Hatch Date: 2022 Bluey is a beautiful blue-and-yellow female budgie with a sweet, shy personality. Her former guardian passed away, and she was surrendered because she seemed lonely. The cats in her previous home were also causing her stress by climbing on her cage. Bluey  is observant and enjoys listening to music, watching cartoons, and bird videos on YouTube. She can fly well, but  is not yet hand-tame, so she needs a patient adopter who will help her build confidence at her own pace.   Her diet currently consists mostly of seeds, but she is beginning to explore pellets and fresh vegetables. She would do best in a safe home where cats and other potential predators cannot approach her cage. Having previously lived happily with other birds, she would likely enjoy a home with another compatible budgie.   Bluey has been disease tested for Chlamydia and PBFD.   Bluey is being fostered in Jersey City, NJ.    She will only be adopted into a forever home within driving distance.  We will NOT ship our birds.   For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.  We do not have a central location.
