Description

Happy Thursday! Eva wanted me to let you know that in a week she will be spayed and then when she is healed, she will be ready to go to her furever home! She figured if you wanted to come visit her and put in an application before she goes, once she is ready, there won't be anything standing in her way!We got this spicy little peanut a little over a month ago and she was 10oz at about 6 weeks old (she should have been around 1.5lbs). We were told that she was found in an apartment that people had moved out of. We aren't sure if the momma had had the babies before the people had moved out, or if she had them after, but either way, all of her siblings and her mom had passed away. Eva was covered from head to tail in large fleas and of course all the flea dirt that comes with it. After a very desered bath and some flea treatment, Eva went home with one of our kitty employees to be fed and monitored around the clock. After a few days of tlc, Eva proved she was not going down without a fight, and she bounced back to be a fierce little girl who loved to play and take naps on her humans. When she first started to play, she couldn't play for more than 15 minutes without having to take a long nap. After a couple of weeks of food, play and love, she was up to over 2 hours of play between naps and she had over doubled her weight and was done with getting suppliental feedings! Once she was strong enough, she came to the shelter to be cagemates with another kitten (Annabelle) who was her age that was found abandonded as well and was lonley. They were not exactly bff's at the beginning (actually there was lots of very awkward playing and yelling from both of them) but they have worked things out and they have showed each other how to play with other kitties appropriately. If you are looking for 2 kittens, Annabelle and Eva would be great additions to your family! If you are just looking for 1, either one of them are amazing kitties, you couldn't go wrong with either one of them! You may find me on our website under "ADOPT
