Hi, I’m Amber. I was adopted as a tiny kitten and spent three years growing up in a home I thought would be forever. But sometimes life changes, and my person couldn’t care for me anymore. So now I’m starting over, trying to understand this new place and all these new faces. I’m a sweet girl, even when I’m unsure. During my intake exam and vaccinations, I didn’t fuss or complain — I just tried my best to be brave. I like being petted, especially when you let me lean into your hand. It makes me feel safe, like I can trust you to guide me through all the newness. Right now, I’m still adjusting to the shelter and figuring out who’s who. I just need a little time, a little patience, and a gentle person who understands that my true personality will shine once I feel secure again. If you’re looking for a kind, tenderhearted companion who wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved, I’m ready to start my next chapter with you.
