At just 1 year old and a little over 4 pounds, Pennie is a tiny girl with her whole life ahead of her.Pennie recently arrived with her father, Gizzie, when their owner became physically unable to continue caring for them. While they share a special family connection, they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together.Everything around Pennie feels new right now, so she may seem nervous when you first meet her. Give her a little time, a gentle touch, and plenty of kindness, and she begins to let her guard down. She is a delicate, sweet-natured girl who wants to trust—she simply needs someone who will let her move at her own pace.Because Pennie has always lived indoors and used pee pads, walking on a leash and resting in a kennel will be new skills for her. She is also recovering from flea-related skin irritation and will appreciate gentle handling while she heals.Pennie is ready to leave uncertainty behind and discover just how wonderful life can be.
