Rivian is an adorable short haired tuxedo girl with a sweet, gentle personality. She’s the quiet observer of the group, the kitten who likes to watch all the action from the safety of her favorite hidey hole before deciding whether she’s ready to join in.And don’t let that shy exterior fool you… Rivian loves to play. If you bring a toy close enough that she can play without feeling like she’s in the spotlight, she can’t resist. And when she thinks the humans aren’t paying attention, you’ll often find her right in the middle of the fun, playing and wrestling with her siblings and foster friends.Rivian is still learning that humans can be pretty great, and she has already made so much progress. She can be picked up and held and, although it’s definitely not her favorite thing yet, she is gentle about letting you know. There’s no meanness behind her shyness. She's simply a reserved little girl who needs some extra time to feel safe and comfortable.Rivian will need a patient family who is willing to let her relationship with them develop at her pace. She may not be the kitten who immediately runs into your arms, but watching her become braver, venture out more, and learn to trust is incredibly rewarding.Her kitten friends are a huge source of confidence and comfort for her, so Rivian must be adopted with one of her siblings or one of the other kittens currently in her foster home.
