* This dog will be at the Pet Food Express Pet Fair - San Jose North on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th from 10AM–3PM both days  5148 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.   Adoption fee: $800   Meet Donut! If you’ve been searching for a dog who is equal parts sweet treat, professional toy enthusiast, cuddle buddy, and adorable little wiggle butt, allow us to introduce you to Donut!  Donut is a 3 year old English Bulldog weighing 37 pounds, and she may just be one of the sweetest things you’ll ever bring home. With her irresistible pouty face, adorable wiggle butt, and loving personality, Donut has a way of making you smile without even trying. Her foster mom describes her as a very sweet, easygoing girl who loves attention but isn’t demanding about it. When she sees you, Donut will happily come over to say hello, often with a little jump and plenty of Bulldog charm. She loves being near her people and will follow her foster around, but she also has an independent side. Give her a comfy dog bed in the yard and she is perfectly content to spend some time outside relaxing and taking a good old-fashioned Bulldog nap.  But don’t let those lounging skills fool you, Donut LOVES her toys! She is practically obsessed with them and would happily spend the day playing with her ball and favorite toys if you let her. Her ideal day is basically: play, play, play… nap… play some more… and repeat! Donut gets along wonderfully with both big and little dogs and doesn’t seem bothered by anyone. She has been described as friendly and easygoing with her canine friends. She has not yet been around cats or children in her foster home, so those introductions would need to be evaluated appropriately. At home, Donut is a dream. She appears to be potty trained, uses the doggy door perfectly, and is comfortable in her kennel. She doesn’t mind having some quiet alone time when she needs it and settles nicely for the night. She also isn’t a high maintenance girl, she simply wants someone who will love her, spend time with her, and appreciate all the goofy Bulldog goodness she has to offer. And can we talk about that face?! That adorable pout paired with her little wiggle butt is enough to melt even the strongest of hearts. Donut would love a home where she can have a person who enjoys throwing the ball, playing with toys, giving lots of affection, and having a sweet little companion nearby. Whether she’s following you around, showing off her toys, soaking up attention, or snoozing peacefully in her favorite bed, Donut is happiest simply being part of the family. She isn’t looking for anything fancy. She doesn’t need a perfect life.
