Meet Kevin! Kevin is a young Lab/Shepherd mix with a big heart, an even bigger personality, and so much potential just waiting to be discovered. At around a year old, Kevin is full of energy and excitement. Shelter life has been hard on him, and all that youthful energy has nowhere to go. He's looking for an active family that can give him the exercise, structure, and patience he needs to truly become the amazing dog we know he can be. Kevin has experienced a seizure in the past and is on daily medication to help prevent future seizures. Since starting his medication, he has not had another seizure to our knowledge and has been doing very well. His forever family will need to be committed to keeping him on his medication so he can continue living a happy, healthy life. Kevin has done well with other dogs and would love a home where he can run, play, and finally leave the stress of the shelter behind. He's a smart young dog who is eager to learn and will thrive with someone willing to invest the time to teach him and help him build confidence. Behind all of that excitement is a dog who just wants someone to believe in him. Kevin doesn't need a perfect family—he just needs one willing to give him a chance.
