Meet Shelby, a Husky mix pup with oversized ears, puppy charm, and a lifetime of adventures waiting ahead of her!Like any puppy her age, Shelby is still figuring out this big world. She's learning how to walk on a leash, discovering new sights and sounds, and soaking up every experience one paw at a time. Right now, she needs a family that's excited to teach her all the important things—house manners, basic training, and that stealing socks isn't actually a career path. She told her previous adopter that she prefers to be the only dog. If you're familiar with Huskies, you already know they're equal parts brilliant, athletic, mischievous, and hilarious. If you're not...well, prepare for a dog who may have opinions about everything, conversations you didn't know you were having, and enough personality to keep life entertaining.As Shelby grows, she'll need plenty of exercise, training, enrichment, and love to become the incredible companion she's meant to be.Shelby shouldn't be growing up in a shelter. She should be discovering the world with a family cheering her on, celebrating every milestone from her first successful walk to mastering `sit` and `stay.`If you're ready for puppy kisses, Husky antics, and a best friend who will keep you smiling for years to come, Shelby is ready to start her next adventure—with you.Shelby recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine.  She wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
