Description

Jasper is a female cat experiencing failure to thrive. Despite receiving supportive care in the shelter, she has not shown the expected improvement and continues to struggle with maintaining her health and overall condition. Failure to thrive can have multiple underlying causes and requires continued veterinary evaluation, diagnostic testing, nutritional support, and close monitoring to determine the cause and develop an appropriate treatment plan. This level of ongoing medical care exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite her condition, Jasper is doing her best while receiving supportive care. Jasper needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive prompt veterinary evaluation, further diagnostics, nutritional support, and individualized medical care to help identify the underlying cause of her condition and give her the best opportunity to improve her health and quality of life.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
