Description

Cassie is a male cat who is experiencing failure to thrive and requires ongoing medical evaluation and supportive care. His condition may be related to an underlying illness or other medical concern that requires further diagnostic testing, treatment, nutritional support, and close monitoring. Without prompt and continued veterinary care, Cassie is at risk for further decline and additional complications. The level of specialized medical care and postoperative/recovery support he requires exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite his condition, Cassie remains resilient and is doing his best while receiving supportive care. Cassie needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive prompt veterinary evaluation, appropriate diagnostics and treatment, nutritional support, and continued monitoring to help him regain his strength and improve his quality of life.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
