Mitchell: At shelter

Although Mitchell arrived as a very shy and underweight stray, he has learned that volunteers and staff at the Campbell County shelter are good, and will bring him goodies, extra food, and even better: time out of the shelter where he can get out, meet his buddy hound friends, and run! We all know hounds need a good amount of time to just exercise, stretch those long legs, and sniff good things, and  Mitchell fits right into the pattern. He looks forward to daily visits from the volunteers, and has found a couple of them who are willing to take him for extended visits outside the shelter area, help him learn to hop up into a vehicle, and even socialize in local stores. That is a big deal for a shy hound boy from the backwoods of Campbell County! If you would like to continue helping him with his social development, we’d love to see you apply to to adopt him!
