April is what’s known as a red-eyed white (REW) rabbit. Her lack of pigment allows light to reflect from the blood vessels at the back of her eyes, creating that beautiful ruby-red color. It’s a fascinating genetic trait—and those unusual eyes give white rabbits like April such a distinctive and beautiful look.April is also a devoted mama—she raised the adorable Lionhead-mix trio Belle, Neve, and Lilly. Now that her babies are growing up, it’s April’s turn to find a home of her own!
