LING LING

Notes from my foster:`Since I've taken in Ling Ling on August 6, she has been very shy around people and would hide - which was very understandable being that she is now in an unfamiliar place. But the good thing is that she is eating, drinking, and using the litter box and through the pet camera I am using, she is being active at at certain points at the night where she is chilling outside of her safe space (which is the Winnie the Pooh Hunny Pot bed). I think she is still getting used to her surroundings, and I think with time and with the help of FELIWAY Classic pheromones spray/scent, I think she will open up and feel safe and loved. My favorite thing about Ling Ling is that even though being in an unfamiliar foster home is a scary experience, she showed bravery and decided to still come out of her only place she felt safe to explore. I think being there with Minor, another cat who was surrendered with her, really helped her confidence. I truly believe in Ling Ling and with given time and patience, I know that one day Ling Ling will open her heart and know that there are people out there waiting to love and care for her.``Ling Ling is slowly doing better every day as she is getting used to her surroundings. She seems to be opening up a little bit more and would come out of her safe spot to explore her foster room, with the help of her friend, Minor, and FELIWAY classic. She is still very shy and skittish and is working on her socialization, but I know that she is doing her very best. She is making slow but steady progress and allows me to gently pet her head, rubs her cheeks and chin without flinching as much as when she was first welcomed to my home.
