Winnifred (5 years old)  Winnifred is a lovely dilute tortoiseshell with a soft coat and pale green eyes. She is friendly and eager to make your acquaintance, so be prepared for her enthusiastic greeting and chirpy hello. She loves to chat, purr, and sit by your side or on your lap while you pet her. Winnie also enjoys playing with toys, especially when you join in the games. Because she is people-oriented, Winnie would do best in a calm home where someone has time to spend with her and share special moments during the day. She likes the company of other cats, too, because they prevent her from being too lonely, but because Winnie is such a gentle soul she would do best with cats who are as gentle and sweet-natured as she is. Winnie is a loving cat whose wish-list includes soft beds, a permanent place by your side, plenty of meaningful chats, and the chance at last to be a lifelong companion. Winnifred is being treated for some skin allergies and is on a special diet. She needs a caring adopter who can maintain her medications and ensure that she is healthy and comfortable.
