  Hi, I’m Obsydian… but you can call me Syd! Dear Future Human, You might think I’m a tiny black panther. And you wouldn’t be entirely wrong. I’m sleek, adorable, and very good at sneaking around. But I’m actually a sweet little Bombay mix kitten with one very special feature: a tiny white diamond on my chest. ✨ My middle name is Lucky —and I definitely earned it! I was found in the middle of the 405 freeway , desperately trying to dart between cars. Thankfully, my brave finder pulled over, and after a daring rescue, she managed to catch me under her car! Let’s just say my nine lives got a pretty serious workout that day. These days, I’m safe at DREAM Animal Rescue, and I’m much more interested in toy mice, coils, cat trees, and sneaking out from under the sofa to surprise everyone. I’m sweet and friendly, I love playing with other kitties, and I even tolerate the dog I live with—which, frankly, should earn me another award. Once I get to know you, I’ll happily trade my panther persona for snuggles and cuddles. Oh, and I’m an expert litter-box user , because I believe a gentleman should have excellent manners.
